Grand City Sports
Grand CITY Sports, Inc. is a Grand Rapids-based nonprofit.
Their mission is to “awaken, cultivate and nurture the promise of our most disconnected young people to replace criminal activity and poverty with social and economic success.” In partnership with the Nonprofit Technical Assistance Fund, Grand City Sports, Inc. asked us to build a scalable WordPress website to market themselves online and improve their digital footprint.
Simpler Site built a website for Grand CITY Sports, Inc. using WordPress. The website provides informational content about the organization and involvement opportunities. Key project phases included:
–Gaining access to current site and hosting
–Researching appropriate plugins and extensions to be used on the site
–Recommending (3) color palettes and font options to be used for the website
–Developing a proposed sitemap for the site
–Creating a content guide that will help guide Grand CITY Sports, Inc. through the content writing process for the site
–Designing a draft of all pages, representing look and feel established in the project kickoff meeting
–Setting up contact form and enewsletter signup functionality, working with Grand CITY Sports, Inc. to determine appropriate setup
